What's your plan for the people you love?
Some people have a Will. Less people have a real plan.
You know it matters. But do you actually have a plan?
You have a home, savings, pensions, maybe a business. You have got people you love and want to look after. You probably know you need something in place, but nobody has ever sat down with you and explained in plain English what you actually need.
Wills. Trusts. Lasting Powers of Attorney. It can feel overwhelming to have these conversations, so we want to make it as easy as possible to get started.
We help you understand what you have, who you want to look after, and the simplest way to put that in place. No jargon. No upsells. No pressure.
How we can help you plan your estate
We don't start with the documents. We start with what matters to you, then put the right things in place. Nothing more.
01
Understand who matters most, and what you have
Your family, your assets, your home, your business, your specific concerns. No two estates are the same, and no plan worth signing is built without understanding the person signing it.
02
Identify what actually needs to be in place
Most people don’t need every product. We tell you what you genuinely need, what you don’t, and why. You will have clarity before you commit to anything.
03
Put the plan in place, properly.
We handle the drafting, the signing, the witnessing, the storage. Every clause is written knowing exactly how it will play out for your family.
What the process looks like
The process is designed to be straightforward and low pressure, because building your estate plan should feel like a weight off your shoulders, not another job on the list.
01
A free, no-obligation consultation
A no-obligation consultation, in person, over the phone, or by video call. You tell us about your situation. We listen, and help you understand what you might need (and what you might not).
02
We tell you what you need
We give you a clear recommendation. What should be in place, why, and how much it will cost. If you already have something in place that works, we will tell you that too.
03
We draft your documents
We prepare your Will, Lasting Powers of Attorney, and any Trusts or supporting documents that are required. Every clause is written with the practical consequences in mind, not just the legal ones.
04
Your signing meeting
We walk you through every document before you sign, making sure you understand every part of your estate plan. Then we handle the witnessing properly so that everything is legally binding.
05
Document storage
Once your documents are in place, they need storing securely. Just ask us during the signing meeting and we can store your documents securely.
06
Estate planning reviews
When life changes, your estate plan should change too. Having a child, buying a house, getting married, receiving inheritance. We are here to update or review your plan whenever you need us.
You are never too early (or too late) for estate planning.
Estate planning is for anyone over 18 with people they care about. The smallest estate we have helped with was worth £50. It still neededed a plan. You don’t need to be wealthy, or understand the legal jargon. You just need to be ready to have an honest conversation about what you want.
You just had a child and want to know your family are looked after
You are buying a home and your lender has asked for a Will
You have inherited from a parent and want to plan for your own children
You have started or grown a business and need a succession plan
You are approaching retirement and want everything in order
You dealt with an unplanned estate and don't want the same for the people you love.

Estate planning FAQs

Do I really need a Will if I don't have much to leave?
A Will covers far more than money. Guardianship of children, care of pets, funeral wishes, specific personal items, who’s in charge of administering your estate. The smallest estate we’ve helped with was worth £50. It still needed a Will. Estate planning is for anyone over 18 with mental capacity, not just the wealthy.
Won't my partner inherit everything automatically?
Not always. Under intestacy rules in England and Wales, an unmarried partner may inherit nothing, and the estate passes to blood relatives instead. Even married couples can run into problems if there are children from previous relationships or specific wishes you want followed. A Will is the only way to be sure your wishes are respected.
I already have a Will. Do I really need to look at it?
It depends when you put it in place. Marriages, divorces, new children, new property, inheritance, a relative’s death, any of these can make an existing Will out of date or even legally ineffective. We recommend reviewing your Will every three years, or after any significant life event.
What's the difference between a Will and a trust?
A Will says who gets what after you’ve gone. A trust controls how and when they get it. Despite what you might have heard, trusts do not automatically mitigate inheritance tax, and can create complications for your beneficiaries. Most people don’t need a trust. If yours is a situation where one would help, we will explain why. If it isn’t, we will tell you that too.
How much does estate planning cost?
It depends on what you need. A straightforward Will is usually more affordable than people expect. More involved plans cost more. What you won’t get is an hourly clock running or a surprise at the end. We agree the cost with you upfront, before you commit to anything.
Can't I just use an online template?
You can. But badly drafted Wills cause disputes, and contentious estates can add thousands of pounds in legal fees to your family’s bill. Professional advice prevents the problems that templates often create. The cost of doing it properly now is usually far less than what your family would pay to fix it later.
