Make sure your wishes are followed

Without a Will, the law decides for you.

58% of adults don't have a Will. But you know you should.

42% do have a Will but most haven’t reviewed it even if circumstances have changed. A new child, a new house, a new marriage, a new inheritance. Any of these can mean an old Will no longer reflects what you actually want.

You have probably been meaning to sort yours for a while. You haven’t because you don’t know where to start. Or because every conversation you have had about it has felt expensive, complicated, or pushy.

It doesn’t have to be. That’s where we come in. We help you write a Will that’s clear, legally valid, and built around exactly what you want for the people you love. No jargon. No upsells. No pressure.

How we can help you write your Will

We don't start with the documents. We start with what matters to you.

01

Understand who matters most, and what you have

Your family, your assets, your home, your business, your specific concerns. No two estates are the same, and no plan worth signing is built without understanding the person signing it.

02

Identify what actually needs to be in place

Most people don’t need every product. We tell you what you genuinely need, what you don’t, and why. You will have clarity before you commit to anything.

03

Put the plan in place, properly.

We handle the drafting, the signing, the witnessing, the storage. Every clause is written knowing exactly how it will play out for your family.

What the process looks like

The process is designed to be straightforward and low pressure, because writing your Will should feel like a weight off your shoulders, not another job on the list.

01

A free, no-obligation consultation

A no-obligation consultation, in person, over the phone, or by video call. You tell us about your situation. We listen, and help you understand what you might need (and what you might not).

02

We tell you what you need

We give you a clear recommendation. What should be in place, why, and how much it will cost. If you already have something in place that works, we will tell you that too.

03

We draft your Will

We prepare your Will and any Trusts or supporting documents that are required. Every clause is written with the practical consequences in mind, not just the legal ones.

04

Your signing meeting

We walk you through the Will before you sign, making sure you understand every section of it. Then we handle the witnessing properly so that everything is legally binding.

05

Document storage

Once your Will is in place, you need to store it securely. Just ask us during the signing meeting and we can provide Will storage.

06

Reviewing your Will

When life changes, your Will should change too. Having a child, buying a house, getting married, receiving inheritance. We are here to update or review your Will whenever you need us.

You are never too early (or too late) to write your Will.

A Will is for anyone over 18 with people they care about. The smallest estate we have helped with was worth £50. It still needed a Will. You don’t need to be wealthy, or understand the legal jargon. You just need to be ready to have an honest conversation about what you want.

You just had a child and want to know they are looked after

You are buying a home and your lender has asked for a Will

You recently got married, remarried, or divorced

You already have a Will and don't know if it is still right

You are an unmarried couple and want to be sure you would inherit from each other

You own a business and want to know what happens to your shares

Will Writing FAQs

Why can't I just use an online template?

You can. But badly drafted Wills cause disputes, and contentious estates can add thousands of pounds in legal fees to your family’s bill. One unclear clause can render a whole Will invalid. The cost of doing it properly now is usually far less than what your family would pay to fix it later.

The rules of intestacy apply. The law decides who inherits what, often in ways that don’t reflect your wishes. Unmarried partners can inherit nothing. Estranged children can inherit. If you have no close family at all, your estate can pass to the Crown.

A mirror Will is what couples often have. Two individual Wills with matching terms, usually leaving everything to each other first, then to the children. Each person signs their own. It’s the most common type of Will for couples.

It depends on what you need. A straightforward Will is usually more affordable than people expect. More involved Wills cost more. What you won’t get is an hourly clock running or a surprise at the end. We agree the cost with you upfront, before you commit to anything.

Possibly. The general rule: if anything significant has changed in your life since you wrote it (marriage, divorce, new child, new property, inheritance, a death in the family), it probably needs updating. We can review your existing Will and tell you honestly whether you need a new one.

We offer a Will storage service so that you don’t have to worry about keeping it safe for when your family need it. When the time comes, your executors can request it from us so it’s there exactly when needed. If you would rather keep your Will yourself, that’s fine. Just make sure it’s somewhere safe and known to the people who will need to find it.
